Race Team Program

These packages are designed to meet your team credential needs in a convenient and cost-effective manner.

There are two different Race Team Packages — Premier and Feature. The details of each package include, among other things, a specified allotment of: Team Manager credentials, Crew Credentials, Guest Passes, Track Access Passes, Signal Passes, Team Cart Pass, and Broadcast Services.

AMA Membership: Team Managers and Crew members MUST have a current AMA membership valid through August 26, 2017 before applying. Memberships can be obtained and/or renewed online www.americanmotorcyclist.com or call AMA at (800) 262-5646, prior to submitting application.

Guest Exchange Passes: Guest passes provide gate admission and Paddock and Industry viewing privileges. We will issue an allotment of Guest Exchange Passes for each event to distribute to your guests in advance. Guests must present the Exchange Pass to Rider Services to exchange for an event Paddock Pass or wristband.  These passes are good for only one event. Guest Exchange Passes can be exchanged for Guest Season Credentials upon request. If opting to exchange Guest Exchange Passes for Guest Season Credentials, identify the names of the guests on the form below and instruct your guest to complete the online 2017 Race Team Member Application. Guests must complete a 2017 Race Team Member Application before the credential will be issued.

Additional Season Crew Credentials: Teams may purchase additional Crew credentials. Keep in mind, however, during main motos, only one crew member per qualified rider may accompany the rider to the Start Gate. Identify the names of additional Crew members on the application below.

Additional Guest Exchange Passes: Additional Guest Exchange Passes may be purchased as well. Simply select the event and number of guest passes desired.

Age Requirements: The minimum age for a Crew Credential is 18 years (Season or Event). The minimum age for a Guest Credential is 5 years. A Minor Release form must be completed for all Guests under 18 years of age. Children under 5 do not require a credential but must be accompanied by a credentialed adult, and a Minor Release submitted.

  • Crew: Gate admission and access to Start Gate, Signal/Mechanics Area, Paddock and Industry Viewing. A Signal Pass is required for access to Signal Area during main events.
  • Guest: Gate admission and access to Paddock and Industry Viewing areas only.

Series Access: An MXS-issued season credential is valid at any AMA Pro Motocross event. An MXS-issued credential does NOT provide access to Supercross events.

Proper Use: Credentials must be worn at all times during events and only by the individual to whom it was issued. Presentation of a credential signifies to security that the bearer has signed the required release forms and meets the qualifications for entrance into restricted areas.

Unauthorized Use: Unauthorized or improper use of a credential is prohibited. Credentials are non-transferable and will be revoked immediately if used by any other person.

Replacement: If your credential is lost, stolen or damaged, contact MXS immediately. Depending on the circumstance, a fee may be assessed for replacement.

Team Information: Upon review of the Team Package Components, choose the package that best suits your needs, complete the application and submit for approval. Our primary means of communication with you will be by email.

Team Members: Identify the names of all team members authorized to receive season credentials (i.e., Team Manager, Crew, Guests) on behalf of the team.

Team Member Application: Each Team Member, including Team Manager, Crew and Guests, must submit a 2017 Race Team Member Application and applicable releases. Team Member applications do not have to be submitted at the same time the Team Package is purchased. However, a credential will not be issued until the individual application is submitted and releases received. Please direct all Team Members (Crew & Guests) to complete the required Team Member Application.

Submittal: Applications must be received 14 days prior to the first event needed. Approval of applications is in the sole discretion of MXS.

Releases: Upon completion of the application below, you will receive an email with the 2017 MXS All-Event Release Waiver and Indemnity Agreement.  Please print the form and have your signature notarized. In lieu of a notarized signature you may bring the forms with you to sign in the presence of an MX Sports representative at Rider Services/Will Call. If you are a minor, you must have a legal guardian/parent with you when signing the releases mentioned above.

Credential Pick-up: Once approved and processed, credentials will be available for pick-up at Rider Services/Will Call at all AMA Pro Motocross events, as well as the final round of Supercross. Credentials will not be mailed. Proper ID must be provided in order to obtain credential.
