SUBJECT: COMPETITION BULLETIN 2014-1: ImPACT Baseline Test for the 2014 season.

The 2014 AMA Pro Racing Motocross Rules require:

Section 1, Competition Licenses, Subsection 1.1(f):ƒ‚  Prior to being accepted for entry in any Pro Motocross Event, each rider must provide documentation that they have completed an ImPACT Concussion Management test, for use by the seriesƒ’ Medical Director to assist in determining when a rider may return to competition after suffering a concussion.

ImPACT Baseline tests must be renewed every two years.ƒ‚  Hence, any riders who were issued a license in 2012 are due for a renewal of their base line ImPACT test.ƒ‚  Test confirmations must be included with each license application before a license can be processed and before any event entries can be received. Riders who had an ImPACT test performed in 2013 need not renew until next year. It is important that riders review their ImPACT test certification for renewal requirements prior to submitting a 2014 AMA Pro Motocross License Application.

There are a couple of different ways to take the ImPACT test. ƒ‚ First, riders may visit the Asterisk Mobile Medical website at www.themedicrig.com and take the test online. ƒ‚ Remember that you will need to have a web camera and a quiet place to take the test. ƒ‚ Secondly, riders may visit the following website to find a nearby testing center - http://impacttest.com/find_care_provider/ . Once you have completed the test please remember to upload the certification to your 2014 online MX Sports Pro Racing Rider Profile.
