450 Moto 1 Recap
Kyle Regal takes the Holeshot with Izzi Stewart Dungey and Grant running closely behind. Regal washes the front end three corners later and remounts in eleventh. By the end of lap 1, Stewart has passed everyone and is into the lead.
For two laps Dungey was working on Izzi, but was able to make his way around and went to work to catch Stewart. Stewart wasn’t able to pull out any time on Dungey, playing the yoyo game. Each time one would gain, the other would lose!
At the halfway mark, it was Stewart Dungey, Izzi, Weimer, Grant, Alessi. Later, Weimer makes his way around Izzi with 4 minutes +2 laps left in the moto.
Dungey stalks Stewart to the very end of the moto, but in the end, Stewart takes the first moto victory.
