• The state-of-the-art Miller Motorsports Park, one of America’s premier racing facilities filled with first class amenities, provides the most unique track layout in the Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championship, nestled on the infield of the venue’s road course.
• The third annual event continues a new era of motocross in the Beehive State, which hosted a round of the championship in 1973, the second year of Lucas Oil Pro Motocross.
• Since it opened in 2006 Miller Motorsports Park has become a destination for motorsports enthusiast, not only hosting one of the widest variety of racing events of any track in the world, both on dirt and street, but also providing interactive opportunities for fans to fulfill their passion for racing.
• Miller Motorsports Park will feature several track changes in 2015, with the most significant change coming to the start.
• Sitting nearly a mile-high in elevation, the thin air in Utah's Tooele Valley will present an additional challenge to racers and teams, similar to what they experienced Colorado’s Thunder Valley MX Park earlier this season.
• Through its first two years of hosting the Utah National, Miller Motorsports Park has crowned at least one champion in either the 450 Class or 250 Class. That trend could continue on Saturday in the 450 Class.
• Each overall winner at Miller Motorsports Park, in both the 450 Class and 250 Class, has won by sweeping both motos.
• Honda is the only manufacturer to win at Miller Motorsports Park in the 450 Class and 250 Class.
• Three of the four different winners at Miller Motorsports Park, combining both classes, were also the National Champion.
• Red Bull KTM’s Ryan Dungey has the chance to clinch his third 450 Class Championship in six seasons on Saturday. He has never won at Miller Motorsports Park.
• Dungey is in the midst of an eight-moto podium streak, tying his longest of the season.
• Autotrader.com/Toyota/Yamaha’s Justin Barcia saw his nine-moto podium streak, the longest this season, come to an end at Unadilla. His seven-moto holeshot streak also came to an end.
• Dungey became the first 450 Class rider to break the 100-laps-led mark at Unadilla.
• Unadilla also signified both classes breaking the 300-laps-completed mark this season.
• Monster Energy/Pro Circuit/Kawasaki broke through for its first overall win of the 2015 season last weekend, and its first since July of 2014. However, one of its riders has still yet to claim a moto win this season.
• Savatgy’s 19 laps led at Unadilla were his first this season and place him fourth on the laps led list.

 

450 Class Stats  

• The first race held at Utah's Miller Motorsports Park was August 17, 2013. Ryan Villopoto won on a Kawasaki.
• This will be the third time the gate will drop for a 450 Class race at Miller Motorsports Park.
• Villopoto wrapped up the 2013 title with his win, while Ken Roczen clinched the 2014 title with a fourth-place finish last season.
• Team Honda HRC’s Trey Canard earned his first career 450 Class win at Miller Motorsports Park last season.
• The 450 Class title has been clinched at Miller Motorsports Park in each of its first two seasons and it could happen again this weekend.
• Dungey and Canard are the only two riders to finish on the overall podium at both Utah Nationals.

250 Class Stats

• This will be the third time the gate will drop for a 250 Class race at Miller Motorsports Park.
• Yamalube/Star Racing Yamaha’s Jeremy Martin capped off his championship-winning 2014 season with a victory at Miller Motorsports Park.
• The 250 Class winner in each of the first two years of the Utah National has gone on to win the championship.
• Blake Baggett is the only rider to finish on the 250 Class overall podium at each Utah National. However, with his move to the 450 Class that distinction will come to an end.
