Following some early rain on Saturday, the fifth annual Tennessee National from Muddy Creek Raceway commenced under ideal weather conditions and featured a near-perfect track. The pair of motos in both the 450 Class and 250 Class featured assertive performances at the front of the field, along with compelling battles for the podium. When all was said and done, Monster Energy Kawasaki's Eli Tomac made his anticipated return to the top step of the podium with his second 450 Class victory of the season, while Yamalube/Star Racing Yamaha's Aaron Plessinger grabbed his first 250 Class win since the end of the 2015 season.
