There are two Race Team Packages: Premier and Feature. The details of each package include, among other things, a specified allotment of: Team Manager credentials, Crew Credentials, Guest Passes, Track Access Passes, Signal Passes, Team Cart Pass, and Broadcast Services.

POLICY

AMA Membership: Team Managers and Crew members MUST have a current AMA membership valid through August 25, 2018 before applying. Memberships can be obtained and/or renewed online www.americanmotorcyclist.com or call AMA at (800) 262-5646, prior to submitting application.

Age Requirements: The minimum age for a Crew Credential is 18 years (Season or Event). The minimum age for a Guest Credential is 5 years. A liability waiver/release form must be completed for all Guests. Children under 5 do not require a credential but must be accompanied by a credentialed adult, and a Minor Release submitted.

Series Access: An MXS-issued season credential is valid at any AMA Pro Motocross event. An MXS-issued credential does NOT provide access to Supercross events.

Guest Exchange Passes: Guest passes provide gate admission and paddock privileges. We will issue an allotment of Guest Exchange Passes for each event to distribute to your guests in advance. Guests must present the Exchange Pass to Rider Services to exchange for an event Paddock Pass. These passes are good for only one event. Guest Exchange Passes can be exchanged for Guest Season Credentials upon request. If opting to exchange Guest Exchange Passes for Guest Season Credentials, identify the names of the guests on the form below. Guests must complete a 2018 Race Team Member Application (below) before the credential will be issued.

Additional Credentials: Teams may purchase additional credentials upon request. Keep in mind, however, during main motos only one crew member per qualified rider may accompany the rider to the Start Gate. Identify the names of additional Crew members/Guests on the application below or select the event and number of guest passes desired.

Proper Use: Credentials are specialty hard cards issued by MX Sports Pro Racing. Credentials must be worn at all times during events and only by the individual to whom it was issued. Presentation of a credential signifies to security that the bearer has signed the required releases and meets the qualifications for access into restricted areas. Unauthorized or improper use of a pass is prohibited.

Replacement: If your credential is lost, stolen or damaged, contact MXS immediately. Depending on the circumstance, a fee may be assessed for replacement.

PROCEDURE

Team Information: Select the package that best suits your needs, complete the application and submit for approval. Our primary means of communication with you will be by email.

Team Members: Identify the names of all team members authorized to receive season credentials (i.e., Team Manager, Crew, Guests) on behalf of the team. 

Team Member Application: Each Team Member, including Team Manager, Crew and Guests, must submit a 2018 Race Team Member Application and applicable releases. Team Member applications do not have to be submitted at the same time the Team Package is purchased. However, a credential will not be issued until the individual application is submitted and releases received. To apply for a Team Credential, select the link below:

Race Team Member Application

Submittal: Applications must be received 14 days prior to the first event needed. Approval of applications is in the sole discretion of MXS.

Releases: Upon completion of an application, each team member will receive an email with the 2018 MXS All-Event Release Waiver and Indemnity Agreement. Each team member must print the form and have their signature notarized. In lieu of a notarized signature they may bring the forms and sign in the presence of an MX Sports representative at Rider Services/Will Call.

Credential Pick-up: Credentials will be available for pick-up at Rider Services/Will Call at all AMA Pro Motocross events. Proper ID must be provided in order to obtain credential.

TEAM PACKAGE COMPONENTS

Team Manager Credential: Provides All Access with Team Viewing (V) endorsement.

Crew Credential: Provides Gate Admission and access to Start Gate, Signal Area and Paddock.

Track Access Pass: Reserved for technical crew members only. Non-transferrable pass provides track access only. Not good for gate admission. This pass must be worn in conjunction with a Season credential or Event pass. Use restrictions apply.

Signal Pass: Transferable pass provides Signal Area access only. Not good for gate admission.

Guest Pass: Provides Gate Admission and access to Paddock. Issued in the form of Exchange Passes to be redeemed for Paddock Pass at Rider Services. Can be exchanged for Season Credentials upon completion of Race Team Member Application.

Team Cart Pass: Cart pass for Paddock and Signal Area.

Live Broadcast Services (Premier Only):

• Live Timing and Scoring feed during timed practice
• Live TV Broadcast feed during racing
• Technical Support
• Requirements: Team must have its own TV (usually located in the lounge) and run 2 cables from the roof of the transport rig to the TV. Team must also have a mast of some sort on the roof at least 4 feet in height to mount an antenna, leaving at least 6 feet of cable on each end.
